Scenes at Balls Falls

Large Cedar trees with roots passing over rocks

The Grist Mill. This is all that's left of the Grist Mill at Balls Falls

Upper Balls Falls, Sept.7,2008

Many people, even locals, are unaware that there is an Upper Balls Falls. Here is a good picture of the Falls taken by Barbara.

Here's a shot I took of the side of the Falls. Note the water sprouting through the rock.

Port Colborne September 5,2008

This chemical ship was downbound at Port Colborne. It's registered in Singapore, the "Sichem Challenge" a long way from home. This shot I took from my van.

Here's a shot of the ship going under the bridge at Clarence Street in Port Colborne. For this picture I got out of the van and thus got a better picture.

Cirque Du Soleil at Hamilton. August 31, 2008

On Sunday 30 August, 2008 Barbara and I travelled to Hamilton for a spectacular circus show. A great birthday gift from her.

Here's a shot Barbara took of me by their van. Pictures were not allowed during the performance as the flashes could distract the performers and cause them problems.

A full length picture of their van.

Bob and Gail's Wedding, August 30, 2008

Here's the happy couple with the Bradley's

Barbara took most of the pictures, so I took one of her looking great in her new dress.

Here's a shot Barbara took of our table.

Here's another shot of the backyard festivities.

A visit to the St. Jacob's Market

On Thursday August 28 Barbara and I visited the St. Jacob's Market
and later had dinner at the Stone Crock Restaurant. A great day.
Many Mennonites were there in their traditional dress as this young lady.
