Lake Street Bridge Demolition

The QEW old bridge at Lake Street was demolished overnight. They started a 9 PM Saturday and were finished by 8:30 the next morning. An engineering marvel. Plenty of equipment was used in a well organized fashion.

Ted takes delivery of his new "loaded" car. It's equipped with, among many features, heated seats, remote start, On Star, Bluetooth, satellite radio and he'll get 48 miles per gallon. Great economy !!!

Mist over Niagara Falls

This was taken from my balcony this morning (Nov 19/08)Starting on the right is the mist from the Horseshoe Falls. Just to the left of it you can see the Skylon Tower. Then there is the mist from the American Falls.On the left of the picture is the smoke coming from the incinerator just outside of Niagara Falls, New York.Garbage from our Golden Horseshoe area is burned there.
